Drive Nice

Found this on Copenhagenize and thought it summed up my sentiments exactly after seeing some "devoted followers" in cars this week. Took the trail today to meet a friend to walk at a local park for an hour then cycled home. Great way to start a productive day!

Wonderful Day on My Bike

Rode my bike into town tonight to Walt's for a bike repair night at the awesome Bicycle Mechanics College. Big shout out to Gina and Mike for organizing and carrying out this useful and fun event! Big thanks to Steve W. for his patience with all my struggles as I get me some mad bike repair skillz! Peddled home after dark--nothing like night riding with NEW BRAKES!  

Slow Down & Enjoy the Ride

I found this video over at Copenhagenize.com. It is a video produced by the Western Australia Enjoy the Ride campaign. While I would have loved to see bicycles in this advert, the message is an important one. It reminds me of a book I read by Carl Honore, In Praise of Slowness, a few years ago. If you haven't read it, you should!
